What does this mean?  Standing up for Jim's routes mean he sexual wants to please him. Why insult his sexuality?  Do you know him or just assume he wants a "Johnson" in his mouth real badly.

Saying "...it seems like maybe..." is hardly correcting - I was trying to figure out who you were slagging. It sounded like you were reacting to the comments about Beyer and Intifada, but blaming HB for them when it was Richard Jensen making the comments.

Never met Jim Beyer, never climbed any of his routes. I don't think I'd care to spend a lot of time with him, but I admire his courage  and tenacity to put up difficult FAs alone, A4+ or not.  Greg Child certainly does.
