amarius wrote: 100% agreed. But you'll need a painter's pole with that. This one is the longest I could find and I couldn't be happier with the system. |

Joe Trabucco wrote: Yes! I dunno if there's some sort of standard for the threading, but the superclip seems to work on all the painter's poles I've come across, so I wouldn't worry about that. I'm only recommending the pole I linked because it is the longest I found. At Rumney I could clip the second clip on most routes no problem. |

I am a fan of the painters pole with the super clip as well. Benefit is you have a multi-tool painters pole. Works well when you decide you want to scrub some boulders, or paint your house. |

I find the kailas one to be a bit on the light and flimsy side, one of the best features of the superclip is how easy it is to unclip draws even if the rope isn't attached to the draw. The kailas wire seems to be a bit on the wider and bendier side of things and makes it harder to do this. |

Beta Stick Evo has a great pole. When collapsed, it's about the same length as your pack, and it extends to 12'. The camera tripod style flip locks are way better than twist-lock. The carabiner eye and the hook for catching the rope are very nice features. It has two principle drawbacks: It's expensive ($80), and retrieving a draw is possible but somewhat difficult. |

Another vote for superclip + ettore painter's pole from Lowe's. I think I only got the 9 foot pole instead of the 16. I've been able to easily clip the first bolt on all routes, sometimes the second. |

I have both the Compact and Ultra Long. The Ultra Long is a bit wobbly when fully extended, but it extends to 21 feet and compacts to 3.7 feet |
