Edit:  all carabiners have been claimed.

I have these 5 large Omega screw-lock carabiners I am looking to give away.  Will even mail them to someone if you can use them.  Two of them are somewhat grooved from rappelling, but still very usable.  I hate the nose on these, as they tend to catch on the rope, but maybe better than nothing.  Let me know in a PM how many you want, and they’re yours.

Not totally sure of allll the rules on this thread, just seeing if anyone in the Boston area is throwing out some goodies (personally trying to out together something of a first rack) but if there's extra such-and-such, I'd be happy to help get those directly into a school/community setting.

Don’t come to this thread to ask for gear. It is for offering up gear to others, or claiming something that has been offered up.

If you’re looking for cheap/free gear, make a WTB (Want To Buy) post in the For Sale/Trade forum

Hello,

I would like to buy climbing gear (chocks, cord, pitons, etcc), priced in the $0-$0 range. Is this the right thread?

I'm gonna say this here once, just to cover my fine, fine behind. I don't use forums much, and I do try to read backwards to a degree, even pages back. Literally must have been overwhelmed by the thousand other tiny words on my phone and total lack of navigation skills on a pocket computer.

Thanks for looking out!

PS talk to the post after yours eh?

I have a pair of size 10 Guide Tennies that have seen waaaay better days. The sole is peeling off on both, one more than the other. It isn't worth it for me to resole them, but maybe someone with cheap/free access to a resole could use them. Let's just call it a flat $10 in shipping and I'll send them your way.

The PM with the best climbing related dad joke that I get in some arbitrary amount of time that I eventually decide on will get them. Or if you're local to SLC, bring me a hershey's bar and they're yours. Or don't...

Have a bunch of Rock and Ices and Alpinist from the last few years. A couple other random outdoor magazines mixed in. Local pick up in Denver only. PM if interested

W's size 10 Chaco's. In decent shape but could use a scrub & resole (probably nowish) but the webbing is still is good.
They are (and always have been) too big for me so it's time for them to find a new home.
You pay to ship or pick up in the people's republic with a snickers bar - or as Miguel said not. They are yearning for a better home.

5.10 Verdon for free, size 41.5. Cover shipping and they’re yours, let’s say $10. Or local Denver area pickup. Will need a resole but overall in really good shape otherwise, just too narrow of a toe box for me.

I've got a pair of size 42 La Sportiva tarantulaces that have a hole from beginner toe drag. It isn't completely through, but getting pretty close. Would be great for someone just starting out. Just pay shipping and they are yours!

EDIT: Claimed!

I've got most of a jar of creatine that's been sitting in my cabinet for years.
Should still be as good (or bad) as ever.
Pay for shipping and it's yours.
Get swole!!!!
