Boston climbing buddies

According to the forecast it seems like it might be a wash out for Saturday at LW...
Rain from Friday 11am through Saturday at 10am
Anybody want to meet up at BkB Somerville if we are indeed skunked?

The issue is the rain from Friday perhaps not drying off by Saturday morning. The morning of, it looks to be very light rain (0.02 inches). https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/lincoln-ri/02865/daily-weather-forecast/2258271?day=4

Hey guys.  It is looking like basically 24 hours straight of rain ending tomorrow morning.  NOAA and Weather Underground are both showing over 1 inch of rain today/tonight.  I would prefer not to drive for an hour to find soggy boulders, and would rather postpone to another weekend.  Also, my hope was to get home not too late anyway, that is why I was looking for a morning departure.

I was/am serious about BkB tomorrow.  Does anyone want to meet there?

Anyone want to get together for something outside this weekend something a bit closer to Boston like Hammond pond or the fells?

I get out early on Friday and was planning on heading to Hammond with my bouldering pad around 2 or 3pm

Friday I’m stuck at work til 5, I was thinking I’d go Sunday as Saturday is lake house day with some family.

Let me know if you guys can go. I was gonna try to head over and be around there by 9ish

this story is about ten yrs old, like my maturity level ha. I had been climbing some shitty pudding stone and was burning some hippie lettuce with 2 non climbers by the pond, twas a nice mid wk late fall day, sunset, birds chirping and shit. I think all 3 of us saw the body at the exact same moment. 50' to right, under a bush, sneakers in the water, back to the ground with no movement to be had and no response to our queries. In a group you do things u wouldn't alone, so we creeped, quietly, yet quickly and decisive. High as fuck at 25' we stopped and threw pebbles into the water in the vicinity not knowing what to do or what we were looking at. As we drew near u could see the needle sticking out his arm, flopped over, pulling at the skin. He looked young like us, angry, empty and cold not at all peaceful. One of us 3 reached out to touch his arm... homeboy freaking exploded into the air screaming liked a raped goat. He took off like a cartoon character who's feet never hit the ground sprinting into the parking lot and screamed a bit before casually walking up route 9. 

Guess it was around 2000... I'd climb Sunday not at Hammond tho that place sux. go bruins!!!

Hey Josh, I would love to join for some bouldering outings!

I believe I met you at the BkB wednesday meetup, but I was just there a couple of times because I switched to Central Rock and mainly do bouldering.
