and tried to grab a slip, how much force would you have to pull with your finger?
Can you calculate this math? And like what sort of jump would be technically possible?

Enough force to detach every ligament/muscle/bone in your hand/arm/shoulder. Figuring out the velocity at a 100' free fall is easy enough, but you'd have to make a pretty big assumption when figuring out how quickly you would decelerate, and that rate of deceleration is going to dictate the average force needed to stop. You know... if your arm didn't explode first.

Assuming you're 70 kg/155 lbs, you can grab the carabiner with your finger + arm pointing straight down, your arm traces a 1.5m/5' diameter circle, and you can apply a constant force over that 1.5m/5' grab... 4375 Newtons, or roughly 1000 pounds of force over the entire 5' grab.
That translates into "don't." (Assuming my pre-coffee math isn't trash.)

Can you calculate this math? And like what sort of jump would be technically possible? What's a "slip"? Isn't that something women wear under a dress?

Not sure what a slip is, but a 3 foot fall on a pin-scar finger-lock took the last digit of my finger off and pulled some gear.

Assuming 91 kilos & 30 meters, you'd be going 87 km/h. That's about 19,700 foot-pounds that you'd need to figure out how to slow down in the length of your arm. So yeah... pieces of fingers would be all over the rock.
If this is for a real world application, please make sure you're taking video of whatever it is you're attempting. your posterity would love to know what it was that dismembered you.
