Bicycle Tioga Road?

What would be the possibilities/problems of going from Lee Vining to the Valley now?

I flew in to LAX a few days ago, and didn't notice much snow while looking down to the Tioga / Yosemite area.
You might have to push your bike through a few drifts, but I think you could make it.

Check out this blog post. Dude road across Tioga in the winter & got a ticket for possessing a bike in a Wilderness area.

They're still plowing the road through Tuolumne to the best of my knowledge, someone posted this in the Eastside Conditions thread on TGR on the 22nd from YNP:

"Despite a foot of new snow higher up and enough snow on other roads to divert plows from Tioga Road, road crews plowed through the Olmsted Point avalanche zone on Saturday and have been working in the Tenaya Lake area. Mono County crews are also working into the park from Tioga Pass."

They'd still need to get repairs done to the road once they plow it, give it a few more weeks and hopefully it will be open. They open the pass early to bikers to ride between Lee Vining and the Valley so look out for that!

the tioga road is now open to bikes and cars up to 10000 ft, from the east side. closed at park gate to cars
