For me it was the sheer quantity of beer and cheese on the receipt.

Is this MP Gold or MP Brown???

"So what you're saying is  that no one in your opinion could have made it either up or down canyon to find a bathroom after that level of cheese and beer consumption, correct?"

"Yes."

What do you have against blue collar workers and servers?

Meanwhile, back home in the midwest...

I think it is obvious what really happened. Jason Ferrier (OP) actually works at the pizza place. Unhappy with less than 25% tip he printed up a duplicate receipt to frame these innocents and pay them back with public scorn. He folded over the top of the receipt to try and obscure his connection by hiding the restaurant and server names.

Although amusing and deserving MP classic status, this thread has turned into a pathetic self-righteous pile on.
I've seen worse pooping behavior from climbers who ought to know better.
I personally have picked up more trash from the base of the Sport Park crags than these two left at the parking lot.
Attacking two midwestern visitors because they don't know how to behave at a roadside canyon pullout is just mean bullying.

I guess you see whatever you want to see.
I thought Boulder was a smug, sanctimonious bubble- looks like the Springs is giving us some competition.

That was my first thought, there were drinks on the receipt, 6 strong beers and 2 hard ciders (which I am guessing were hers). So this dud had a sixer of beer and probably drove. Or she had two and drove etc...

My nephew was killed in a car crash involving alcohol, so I take this shit seriously...don't drink and drive. Smoke is OK.

How many rental cars come with wag bags?

I'm not too critical of a couple of vacationers having a couple of drinks...more than a few have been had by climbers during the day at the Sport Park.
And maybe the server only deserved 18%. Which is pretty close to an average tip, imo.

It's great to be better than everybody else, but it spoils the effect when you tell them how much better you are.

Edited to add- Lutz, I usually really enjoy your comments- just think you and others are being too judgmental in this thread.

 correlation does not imply causation.

Y'all can't be doxxing people from the midwest just because you found a receipt in a pile of crap. It's a piece of paper guys, you know what wind does to paper?

This is internet bulling, borderline harassment, and the second time this week I've seen it happen on MP. I'm not surprised to see the same names associated either.

If you ask me, it's this thread that is full of human sh*t.

This is a solid thread, unlike the subject of discussion.

Agreed Mark.  This thread represents a sad state of affairs on mopro.  A guy finds a receipt that may have blown out a window, may have blown down the canyon, posts the guys name, then his and her photo, convict them, embarrass them, post to FB, and so on, on a site they may not even know exists.  Then people name calling each other in this thread (and getting thumbs up for it).  Btw, climbers are shitting in the canyon as we speak.

Even if these people are 100% guilty, this public shaming is pathetic, and disgusting.  Mopro has been going down hill for a while and seems to have gotten worse lately.   It has reached a new low.  I'm embarrassed to be part of it.

I blame the Women's Forum.

Seriously, who would have guessed you and I would ever agree on something?

Statistically speaking, what are the chances of this guys receipt blowing out the window and landing in someone else’s turd? I’d bet pretty slim to none

If Ondra did that at Smith, there’d be a prayer circle around it...

Yes, the odds are low. Which is why I said even if they are 100% guilty, this thread is lame.
