Air loopis is a benchmark v8, i.e., not a slash grade.

I guess it's cool if I come to your house, leave poop in the driveway, friction lab stickers on the mailbox, and start a brush fire in the front yard?

If I keep making annoying posts about how awesome my house is, then yeah feel free. Stop complaining about it on mtn project by making sarcastic, passive aggressive commonts, and instead donate time or money to making it better. Even the ranchers who's property borders the boulders are less salty than you man.

Bruno-cx, I understand loud and clear, but what you don't understand is that bringing attention to Roy, whether sarcastically or seriously, is going to get people talking about it and inevitably attract more people there. I am well aware of the issues at Roy and having been going since before green license plates and guidebooks. I have seen the deterioration and misuse of the land, but bitching about it on MP ain't doing nothin'. If I were you, and cared enough to post this frequently on MP about it, I would  a.) look into how Joe's Valley became more sustainable over time from the similar beginnings or, b.) figure out how you can actually help, ya know, like in real life. Luckily for you Roy is mostly out of season so you can have some time to figure out the last one

the Guidebook brought attention to Roy, not Bruno.  i hears that Bruno does have super-powers tho

I want to 'actually' help, so i didn't buy the guidebook

but apparently a lot of fellow Greenies did buy it, and followed the directions and went there

now the author says: too many Greenies, and no more guidebooks

It's like a Kevin Coster in Field of Dreams, only its Greenie Insta boulder tech van taco bros, not baseball

I suggest getting off the greenies....

V8 in CO, V4 everywhere else.  Boulder is not that special now that every gym in town has a #vanlife problem in the parking lot. All you Greenies need to get over it.  Climbing is not that hard anymore.

I’ve heard this argument made as naseum about every climbing area I’ve been to. Yet it never manifests in the reality of the experience of actually climbing. I don’t climb V8 these days, but I’ve climbed V4/V5 in a bunch of places and the difficulties felt comparable. The only places I’ve climbed harder have been places I’ve climbed at a lot.
15 years ago, I would’ve told you that Yosemite had the softest ratings. I’ve done more than 500 problems there, so perhaps I just became accustomed to the style of climbing? I bouldered there last week for two days, and everything felt greasier and harder than I remembered. Yet I still climbed the same grade there as I have recently in the Front Range.
#vanlife is definitely not limited to Boulder. There were at least twenty vans/RVs in the turnout by the park entrance on CA-140 in El Portal when I headed into the Valley for a quick run the last day we were there.

Don't you live in a sprinter...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
