We'll be at the gem ships in Tuscon in the middle of February and would love to get out for some climbing. Since we'll be flying in, we won't have all our camping gear. Where's the best place to stay for a few days with easy access for climbing at Cochise Stronghold?
Also, route recommendations for moderate (valley 5.10a or less) trad multipitch without any unprotected traverses (wife had a bad experience last year)?
Thanks!

If you're going to the East side with Cochise Dome, Rockfellow Group, etc, there are a couple of FS cabins that can be rented out:

We will have a rental car. No 4wd.
The cabins sound awesome! We'd have to bring bedding which complicates things. How close to good climbing are they? If they're significantly closer and more scenic, then we'll make it happen.

Stay in tombstone and climb on the west side No need for anything other then a car. And it’s 20mins from the parking lot for the sheepshead. Plenty of .9-.11 multi pitch mixed routes Most are pretty straight up and well protected.

The cabins are along the same road as the free and pay camping on the East Side, so the approach doesn't really change.

The Triangle T Ranch is the closest place on the East Side where you don't have to bring your own sheets. They also have a crazy good "happy hour" where the locals abound. You don't need 4x4 anywhere unless the West Side "End of the Road" is washed out by summer monsoons and it is a rental car after all. Get a white car and some white-out and you are ready for desert pinstriping.

Get a white car and some white-out and you are ready for desert pinstriping. Stayed there years ago while working on the set of Man vs Wild: Arizona Sky Islands and had a damn good time. The food was good too. I second the cabins mentioned above, though: they are walking distance to the trails to the Rockfellows and the Wasteland area. Although, OP, based on your stated desire for tamer routes for your wife, the Sheepshead area (near Tombstone) that others have recommended might be your best bet. For "10a and below trad routes without scary traverses" try Phony Pony, Dark Horse, or Ewephoria with the original finish (the Too Tough To Die finish seems to sketch inexperienced followers out).
