Going to be heading down to FLA but,the plan is stop at crags not too far out of the way of hwy 75 on the way down and back.  Have sussed out RRG, Chattennoogga, and now looking for a little outdoor something in Georgia.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Currahee Mountain & Mount Yonah appear to have some. Not from GA, just using the search function.

I climbed at Yonah a couple of weeks ago. There are bolted routes and options for TR and trad. The upper climbing area is about an hour or so up hill.

I really wouldn’t call either Yonah or curahee sport areas, I suggest Chattanooga or the red for sport climbing

Foster Falls in TN is awesome. Best climbing in Georgia is Rocktown, but it’s bouldering. Really good bouldering though :)

You won't find too much in GA. Yonah has a few, but mostly easier slab routes and Currahee has a few was well. If you want to detour an hour out of your way, Sand Rock has some good routes, but if it's sport you want, just stick with Foster Falls, Castle Rock or the new crag Denny Cove which are all just to the west of Chatt. If you go to Castle Rock, please pay attention to the rules and text the landowner per the information in MP.

The Obed is supposed to be pretty good if it's not too far off-route for you. For chattanooga, in addition to what's already been mentioned, there are also Leda and Lower leda, both of which host some sport climbs, some trad climbs, and some climbs with a little bit of both. Deep creek is another area in Soddy Daisy but I can't speak to that area as I haven't been.

There are no doubt more areas in chattanooga as well as possibly some other areas in GA but many crags are kept unknown due to southern secrecy. There also a fair amount of sport climbing that looks very good on Signal Mountain, but climbing is strictly prohibited unfortunately (because people on signal mtn have their heads way too far up their asses). Part of me still lusts to climb the cliffs at signal point.

Climb Stone Mountain and chisel the traitors' faces off as you go.

Deep Creek is great - Hemlock block has some great steep 10s!

When I was there in 2014, an employee at Rock Creek told me that Signal Point Park had just been reopened so we climbed there a couple times. The slabby arete there was awesome. Has access once again closed?

Last I heard there was a town ordinance banning any climbing on property belonging to the town of signal mountain. This was some time around summer or fall of 2014. If it has opened, that's awesome, the climbing there looks really good, although some of the bolts are in pretty bad shape.

this is your best resource. I grew up in Chattanooga and my opinion is that most of the better roped climbing in the Tennessee Georgia area is done on gear. That said foster falls and obed have some amazing sport crags. Georgia doesn’t really have much for sport. If you have a rack or crashpad with you your options open tremendously.

Yonah is definitely not along the way. It's as far out of the way as Sand Rock would be (from the I-75 corridor). Two hours. If you are going to make a two-hour detour, go to Tallulah Gorge.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
