Yes, Excellent work.  Great of you to care & put in the efforts to save climbing resources!  Thank you for the sneak-peek, that almost makes it sound like fun.  For what it's worth, blatant  Competition is not everyone's idea of what climbing is or should be about, but in your  brave new world, it is now becoming what climbing IS ALL about .

 and Adam

, is that you or  your kid in Lederhosen ?

Thank you. I appreciate your note in bold.

It’s a fundraiser. I’m very well aware it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Have you been to an outdoor comp? They are not really about “blatant competition”; they are about having fun and showcasing access issues.

It’s not my world, it’s ours, and it’s not brave enough. I watched climbing areas get destroyed in front of my eyes. The courage to stand and fight is just trickling in. Me and other folks decided to make a change. This is a great way to do it. Hope to see you there, if not; I hope to see you at one of our other fundraisers or work days. All are welcome.

If anyone reading this would like to help, or continue to help, save and preserve climbing in Southeast New England, but outdoor comps aren’t your thing, feel free to reach out and I can help you figure out what is the best way for you!

Come on People show your support ,

post up that you will try to be there!

This a save the rocks event that deserves to be on the front page

The real threat to climbing is climber herd mentality that has taken hold.

Don't be lemmings following the well worn paths.

Branch out take advantage of an organized event to explore a new area.

THIS IS NOT the site of the event , it was just posted, I just hope to add some stoke

I was thinking of coming up for this tomorrow morning and doing the same day registration. Has there been any thought about the weather? I think it's supposed to rain pretty heavily till about 3 AM. If it's not raining but everything is soaked, will the event still go on as planned?

Event is still happening tomorrow!  The wind should hopefully dry things up especially as the day goes on.

The rain lasted much longer than expected. The event has been rescheduled for next Saturday 11/17. Any participants that registered can bring a friend for free next week. Hope to see you next week!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
