Looking to drytool in Saint-Alban either the 27th and 28th or one of those days and maybe the other day get some pitches in around Val-David. Driving from Burlington VT, happy to carpool, there is camping nearby among other possible accommodations.

Hi Jackie,

I would recommand to post on this forum instead : https://www.escaladequebec.com/forums/forum/partnaires/ or this FB page : facebook.com/groups/1144505…

If you can write your post in French it will be appreciated.

Also it's a long drive between Val-David and Saint-Alban, I would rather go to Lac Long, which is only a 15 minutes drive from Saint-Alban and has superb climbing (it will be cold though, but Val-David would also have been).

Good luck!

Never heard of Lac Long so thank you for the suggestion :D
I suggested Val-David more because it's sort of on the way back down for anyone presumably coming from the Northeast (based on this forum). Thanks for the other URLs, I didn't have these previously and I have a feeling I'll get more takers there :)

Thanks again!

All good recommendations. Lac Long is outstanding. Don't miss it. There's even an English version of the topo: https://www.escaladequebec.com/topos-du-quebec/

For the St-Alban/Lac Long area I would recommend this Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/1153674…

Thanks for further recommendations. I've been going to Saint Alban since last year and hadn't really looked around at all the other options around. Super stoked!

And if you want multipitch, there's the Gros Bonnet not very far away...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
