Looking for recommendations: good 4th class/ easy 5th class "hikes" in So Cal

Dear esteemed members of the community,
Recently moved to SD and have finally recovered enough to start enjoying the outdoors more (torn acl). Any recommendations for good technical hikes / easy long alpine style climbs in the southern California area ?

Thanks for the suggestions, based on your user name I figured doing 100 push ups, 100 situps, 100 squats and running 10km a day will be sufficient training to accomplish any of these things :P

Seeing that your recovering. I would toss this out.

3rd class route on Strawberry Peak in the AF.
San Jacinto via the ridge from Town.... not the devils slide from Humber Park.
The North face of Baden Powell - fabulous display of trees and vegetation changing every 1,000 feet gained.
When I was recovering from a ripped Quad and out of the cast..... I did these really fine hikes.

I don’t know of any real 4-5th class Alpine in So California..... you would need to go to the South Sierra, at least, to find these sorts of climbs.

Couple ridges up the north face of Ontario Peak, Kimchi Ridge on the right of Sheep Canyon, and Soba Ridge to the right of that one. Easy 5th, lots of loose rock, nice chill hike from the topout to Ontario’s summit. Approach shoes, and helmets if you have a partner. Thought I put em up on this site but I guess not.

I second tahquitz all the way up the ridge  I the fire tower. Pair it with a route to the summit and it makes for a super fun outing

Really? I disagree. There is lots on San Jacinto. Just have to be willing to look and explore.

I have - trust me. 

Have you done more than just look from afar?
Real 5th class Alpine Climbs, that one can free solo are as rare as 3balled Goats - especially in Southern California. 
Keep looking.... please report your findings.

Yoooooooo so y’all afraid to discuss routes in Snow Creek cause Wally’s gonna get you or what? I’m too much of a poon to go. Someone’s gotta at least post a pic to tease me or something. I love being teased.

If you are in SD county highly recommend the south ridge of El Cajon Mountain.   Another good one is the cross-country route from Ranchita to the Thimble.
