Sold, thank you...... is a set of ultralight master cams (00 - 6). There are 8 cams in new condition. They have never been used and only show very light scratches from being on gear rack. Asking price is $340 shipped. Will not break up the set. Thank you

Kinda weird, they are that scratched but not from being placed?

  • They look used?

Ya i forgot to put on my cam head covers to protect them when climbing. My bad...Like i said they have been on my rack, and have been taken up with me on climbs. No reason to lie about gear used to protect your life.

so you took these climbing but they were "never placed"

strange?

None of this seems out of the ordinary to me. People post cams on this forum all the time that have been racked but never placed for various reasons. Unnecessary doubles/triples, tried trad and didn't like it, could be anything. And the scratches seem consistent with a couple of trips up climbs. Maybe they were banging against rock, maybe climber was in a chimney, maybe he leaned against a wall with them on his harness.

I'd buy them if I didn't have $0 in my bank account as a result of buying climbing gear

well okay yes, probably not accurate to call them new though

Never seen such massive abrasions from being on a harness.  But hey whatever probably doesn't matter anyway.
