Contacted Ramuta's Resole. No Response. What gives?

Hey all, |
|
|
Due to unprecedented volume, Ramuta’s will no longer be taking in individual’s shoes. We are focusing our business on our accounts at this time. We are sorry for the inconvenience. |

Skibo, do you work for Ramuta or was that a quote from the site? I couldn't find it on the webpage. |

They are artists at Ramuta’s resoles. Every pair comes back better than new! Never question the methods of artists. |

I hope to heck that's just a temporary situation with the summer rush in full swing. I suspect it is. The quote is in the repair form drop down. John does all the resoling (or at least used to) for the Vertical World Gyms in the PNW. Not sure if he has other accounts as well. I helped at a VW and we'd collect member shoes and send them out to Johns. Sometimes 30 pairs in a box and this was in the early 2000s. Johns an artist so I suspect he's just trying to catch up with the early season rush. I'm in TX now so my "season" is never during his rush. Had some beautiful TC Pros come back in Dec. |

Ugh! Thanks for the info...guess I need to find someone else. |

Ramutas has had that up for months now. I think that’s just the case for them these days. |

I've sent my shoes to Ramuta for a while and it is taking longer than normal to get them back. I send them in via Vertical World in Seattle because it saves me from paying shipping. The last batch that came back were out for about three months. According to one of the folks at VW, Ramuta is moving to a new location and that may be impacting the turn around time. They've had a pair of my Miuras for about two months now. It is frustrating to wait so long, but they are good at what they do. |

Bumping this. TX season is approaching and I may need some work done. Anyone know Johns status? I’ll shoot him an email st some point too but if he’s busy and someone knows, I’d prefer not to pester. |

I suspect turn around could be coming back down now the PNW isn't in resole season. Need to send some dragos out myself and I don't want to bog him down with more emails. |

Ramutas is officially closed as of mid-2022. John did the best work I'd ever seen and I am sad to see this happen. He was always communicative and understanding, and turnaround times were usually quite good for the price. A true model for other resolers to imitate. RIP Ramutas |

Hear hear! Was always impressed with his work and a bummer he's no longer an option. I hope that he is enjoying retired life and enjoying the outdoors that he enabled so many of us to participate in. |

Charlie Swrote: Same! Thanks John for all your work. Enjoy the rest! |
