Seems like just about anyone can be a climber now-a-days

Overheard at ferguson canyon this weekend... "dude, i wish they made a harness to attach my vape to my face while i climb"

That might just be what makes me stop climbing...

We then watched the vape harness guy place a number 2 c4 threaded through a hole umbrella/nut style. Bomber!!

C4's can be placed passively. ^^ just fyi 

Oh yeah! I know that, i just thought it'd be a nice touch to the story.

Seems like Ferguson just attracts those kinds of *people* for some reason. I stay away from there unless it's too cold for them.

You really care? 5.8 is hard for some people. Some get super excited about climbing and talk to their friends about it. Seems normal. Would you have the same attitude if a 5.14 climber overhears the same coming from a 5.12 climber and comes on MP to talk smack about them? I say let them be. You were a noob once. Compared to some, you still might be one.

The OP clearly cares for some reason. We have “noob” crags around here too. People could fill two whole MP forums with the hilarious happenings from these places. Wasn’t there a “stuff I overheard at a noob crag” post at some point I recall?
