Ted, do us all a big favor and raise the price to $200. Not only will this help us to reach our 4-page goal,  it will also inspire a more colorful and personal discourse.

It's obvious what happened here.  Ted bought the rope without telling his SO, got caught and lost the argument, told the SO it couldn't be returned but that he would try to sell it.  He doesn't actually want to sell the rope, he wants to keep it, but needs to keep peace in his home by the appearance of trying to sell it.

*bump*

Nice use of language here. There are no assumptions made about the gender of Ted's SO.

Nobody needs to be all heteronormative about an over-priced rope.

I got a MP themed idea that’ll blow your minds. I say we get good ol’ Teddy to auction this bad boy off. I’d be down. I kind of want this damned stupid thing purely based on principle of blindly needing something I can’t have. However, we all know Teddy has turned off the blasted notifications for the bomb of a thread so we’ll just continue bumping it for another week or so

Edit: raffle not auction. Sorry. Long week st work. I certainly ain’t bidding for this thing. But I’d put in a few bucks at a cheap opportunity

With high hopes of getting us to page 4, here are a few recent finds that I'm proud of:

I could provide the phone number to rock and resole if that's useful to anyone?

Someone was asking about what kind of dog pee was on that OTHER rope but MP has limited my ability to post in that thread (too many questions. HOT sale!) It's labrador pee. Yellow lab. Female, if that matters.

Sr. Arroz, I know that you've yet to publish results, but I was wondering if you could speak to the question of whether pregnancy harnesses actually increase the chances of conception. Seems like they're in demand of late.

Senor arroz’ are you helping him advertise this rope for pregnant women? Sounds like a good selling point......

Hmmmm, I may be willing to drive down to jacksonville to avoid paying shipping on this glorius thing. Who wants to road trip? I'll be going down the east coast.

Will you really need a 70m rope in Flat Florida as Teddy calls it.

I say everyone contributes a few bucks and we all buy the rope. Cut it up and everyone gets a piece of MP history.
