edit 5/6/18, GLAD THAT THEY FOUND A HOME! They are a regular problem, to guides of a certain overcautious, over read, -know it all- clients, whos' use of theses, or really incompetent, slow miss-use, can cause an entire conga line of climbers to be slowed to a dangerous crawl. Which in turn tempts climbers away from the meticulously cleaned & maintained, Via--ferrata's & onto the choss-strewn Dolomite limestone. . . .
(Via)Ferrata-nightmare Lots of,& Liberal definition:RESULTS THAT LEAD TO OR CONTRIBUTE TO - Gear/CIRCUMSTANCE/ CLIENT CAUSE of AN ENTIRE CONGA LINE OF {LIKE ILK?} CLIMBERS TO SLOW TO A DANGEROUS CRAWL UP METICULOUSLY CLEANED & MAINTAINED & GUIDED ROUTES. . .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Via_ferrata

2nd, I thought it was a clear point, made by the inclusion of the model number rather than the picture, That these were something to be fully informed about, by forcing you to go look them up. To Me It reads; as though the time period required to book a trip might have closed. These items represent the number of sets not needed/paid for, so up for sale. It helps to finalize the trip logistics to gear up then gather all the cash, available.

OK, let's clear this up a bit: 1) I can't call myself a climber, although I've done some indoor climbing, hence a new account 2) I fully understand the need to be wary of scammers. On the other hand, these items are not super expensive (compared to a new $2,700 boat heater that I sold for $1,400 on a cruising forum and have never had any bad reviews on that site) 3) I actually bought these for safety on a boat, planning to make my own safety harnesses (none of the ones you can buy have a feature like the screamers). Since I sold the boat before I had the time to get around to that, these items never got used 4) I could have advertised these on Craigslist or on the boating sites, but I'm a realist - I don't think I'd get that much interest, whereas on a climbing site there are a lot more folks who might be interested in climbing gear. 5) I did not intend for folks to check safety and all that by only providing the model #. I simply figured that these are items that are reasonably well known, hence no need for pictures. But as you can see above, I've provided them. 6) I have no clue what a "Ferratnightmare" is (and I googled it without results), but I bought the carabiners expressly so I'd have to consciously open them, rather than having them open because my body pressed against the gate. A gate with screw won't work in a situation where you may have to open the gate with one hand. They fit my purpose. Since I'm not a climber I don't know if they'll fit yours, but since I bought this from a climbing gear dealer I figured that some climbers have a use for them.
I've had some inquiries on the screamers via e-mail so far, but no answers to my responses. So the gear is still up for sale.
