Woohoo! :) Thank you!!! I can’t wait to get it so my 10.2 mm stiff fatty can be relegated to TR only.

I thought there might be a more suspenseful twist at the end, like, you cut the rope in 20 pieces and everyone wins!!

Congrats to the winners and thanks for the chance-

Someone tell me how these raffles "support the climbing community". I'm not trying to throw cold water on these; I can see it's fun. And the odds of winning sure beat the Powerball. But is some fraction of the $ going to some climbing related advocacy group? Or buying anchor hardware?

I think by "support" it's just that everyone who participates is "supporting" the fellow climber who gets a new rope or whatever to use for a fraction of the real cost. I am glad I could help support all who won in this raffle!

Yes, it's just for fun and for everyone to have a chance to get some new gear that they may not be able to buy on there own. This is my first time doing this and more work then I thought  as I have to buy the item, list it, and ship it, but think it is worth it and fun.

On a side note I have put up routes and helped develop and replace old ones in my community and others. I also always try to help a less fortunate climber or someone new to the sport. I hope this achieved that goal as I didn't make a dime and if anything lost money in the end.

Lastly thanks again everyone for playing and your great comments, who knows I may do this again soon. Emial me with any ideas on how you think I could do better or improve this. The real credit should go to Brigham he came up with this idea.

Update....

1st place Don - As you know rope was packed and shipped to your address Sat the 26th

2nd place Blake - Tried shipping carabineer but was really expensive going to find a cheaper option today the 26th

3rd place Mike - Contacted you both through MP and Paypal to send you $6.50 but have not gotten a reply. If I don't hear from you by 3/28 I will pick another winner and refund $6.50 to them.

Thank you

Actually, I don't get pro deals.. I also posted stating I can put pictures of the real rope up and receipt if people wanted, no one asked so I didn't. Lastly I didn't make a dime on this like I said and included a second and third place winner with additional money coming out of my pocket. I spent a good deal of time on this for everyone and tried to make it fun. The only thing I think I would do differently if I were to do another is try to include a live Youtube stream of the drawing. This way everyone could participate that is playing and know that it is completely random and see the Items live.

Thank you Don for the backup.

I will try and take a picture of the receipt when I get home tonight.

It really kills me that people are this way. It keeps people from wanting to do things like this. I get that there are scammers out there, but I have not scammed anyone.

I only posted today to be completely honest and transparent. This way everyone would know the raffle prices did go to the winners.

WoW!!! You have got to be kidding me! Thank you again climb80 for running this raffle.  I cannot believe some people are actually like that.

This guy got accused already of pro dealing gear and selling it for profit, and now you all gave him money and the picture he used is a catalog photo and he didn't show the actual rope or a receipt indicating how much he paid for it....

Per your request here is a picture of my receipt. For obvious reasons I'm going to block out information regarding my account.

Thank you Nate, appreciate your support. Was thinking about maybe doing one of these again for everyone but this makes me think twice .
