KailasGear not shipping my order

Why did you delete your posts Max?  I don't think it made you look bad or anything that you had the questions that you did.  Good to question that stuff and have it clarified (if there is clarification to be had) IMO.  I mean we are talking about gear that is designed to keep us from dying or being in some very severe pain.

I got busted cheating on Totem and it hurts, it hurts so bad.  that was a drimple alright.

The tracking won't update until they clear customs in the U.S. from my experience. Then it will resume as normal.

So sorry for the delay .  The order still waiting for shipping because the blue totem is sold out . We planned wait for the item back , or find some in our stores to send you  together . But now found out that the stores are also sold out . And not sure when we have it back in stock .
Would you like us to send you the yellow one , and refund you the cost of the blue one ? Or refund for the whole order ?

My order has cleared customs. We'll see what actually arrives. :/

Ordered the 11th. Shipped the 27th cause of CNY. Arrived the 5th. Falls in line with my previous order (week and a half for all 5 made 6 months ago).  Shipping to west coast.

I just order from Totem directly never had a problem with any of the orders and free shipping from spain if you order 7 or more

Many of us are ordering from Kailas because they were handing out pro-deals to people.  Pretty hard to beat half price as long as everything goes well with getting your stuff (I had no problems but I ordered well before CNY).

I ordered a set of 5 Totem Cams at a total of $249.50 USD. They arrived today, but instead of getting the Yellow Cam, I received a yellow "Tool Holder."

This appears to be my order! My order status is awaiting shipping still. I purchased blue through red totems and one yellow tool holder. 

Also ordered on 12th. Got reply yesterday blue is out of stock, yellow is in stock. Asked them to just send me two yellows, but have not heard back yet.

After I ordered my 5 Kailas Totems, I learned that there is a smaller size than they advertised (black) and a larger (orange). I have been unable to get a black except from a UK site that makes clear I will have to pay big customs fees. No thanks. I did, though, find an orange from a U.S. company and bought it.

To my point-- the Kailas Totems may be bomber as some have attested, but they are not quite the same as the "true" Totems. There is a difference in the shapes of the lobes. I have no idea if this affects performance, but it is not true that both are exactly the same.

Upon request, I can post pics showing this.

There is no difference in the shapes of the lobes between brands.....both are literally made in the same factory with the only difference being the logo put on the trigger.  If you are referring to the orange totem having different shaped lobes that is only because the orange totem is a bit unique on the lobe shape.  If Kailas carried that size it would not be any different.  It has nothing to do with the brand.  A red Totem brand is going to be the exact same as the red Kailas brand.  You can lookup pics on google images and confirm this I'd imagine.

No offend Michael but your wrong. Totem MT in Spain make the cam for Kailas. It's exactly the same cam with the same CE number and come from the only one shop that make it.

I googled some images, and Christopher is correct that the orange Totem has a slightly different lobe design from the other colors among the "real" Totems, and my Kailas Totems do look exactly like the "real" ones I saw in images. For anyone interested, I have posted a pic below. The parts in question would never be in contact with the rock, anyway, and it seems my comment was much ado about nothing.

Anyone still waiting for their cam order?  I am waiting for a set ordered on Feb 13th.  tracking shows it being moved around but still not in the US.
