Has anybody been to Secret Falls/Windy Saddle recently? Curious if it's in or what it looks like.

Hi does anyone have recent updates on Bridalveil Falls in Telluride? Thanks!

Bridalveil is fat.. and really, really wet... I bailed, didn't feel like suffering that much, a party later in the day got to the top, they used a tarp at belays to keep it a little more sheltered.

might be better on a calm day, the wind was blowing spray everywhere..

EAST VAIL UPDATE 02/04/18:

The limestone is IN!

Fang MIGHT actually touch down this week! SUPER hollow growing ice, but it's about 6" from connecting, and running steady. 7th Tentacle is fat. Cupcake finish is great. Amphibian dagger is huge and MEGA solid. Designator climbed well yesterday, but soaking wet and screws in cauliflower (20'ish?) were bullshit. Super chandeliered in the center and chimney, but managed to eek out a 2' wide path of "mostly dry" climbing just to the left. There is a really spooky hole up top with a 3" candy shell that you have to climb past to top out the right side.

On that note: If you get to the right side tree anchor (blue webbing), there is a brand-new Camp Photon locker on it that I'd love to get back...our crew didn't realize I left it on there and our last leader went to the left side anchor, and rapped off (I was climbing around the corner when she topped out, so didn't get a chance to holler at her). It was too late in the day to walk up and get it so a beer is on me if you do. Cheers!

Everyone is complaining about crowds? We broke trail and probably made the first tracks of the season to the dark side! Had the place all to ourselves. BBB looked doable for all you hardmen out there.

@Nick I climbed CC yesterday. It was pretty picked out (no swinging necessary) and some flows were too thin for my taste. Bust out the headlamp and climb tonight because my guess is it's gone over the next few days.

Not ice conditions, but wanted to get this out to MP.com too!

Unleashed 2018 is on the calendar for Tuesday, April 10th, at Rayback Collective in Boulder, CO.

For those of you who don't know who we are or what we're about...Unleashed is an end-of-season Ice, Mixed, and Alpine Climbing party we host each year to celebrate another year of winter fun! We have a mountain of gear and prizes to give away in our drawing, with 100% of the ticket sales donated to our non-profit partners each year, and Rayback always has a ton of tasty adult beverages and food trucks on site.

There will be an official event page on Facebook and more details to come (I'll be sure to share here too). If you want to find us on FB, you can search #Unleashed2018 and/or #AlpineProm.

Stay safe and have fun for the rest of the season, and we hope to see you all at the party!

So on the way up to Cameron Pass for some skiing and here's photos of "Group Therapy" perhaps Casper's Ghost a more fitting name this year with the face towards the top of the climb, lol....  Photos are from Monday 19 February 2018.
