Don't listen to that guy. His opinion is obviously biased.

Origin's a bit of a haul from RR if you're car camping out that way, but it will reward you with the largest square footage of climbable space, some great route setting, and a clean atmosphere. The top-roping is rather short, so bouldering is the main attraction there in my mind, but they definitely have roped climbing. If you're really wanting to do a lot of leading, the gym at R2C2 is small and kinda homely, but you can basically lead up one wall, across the roof, and down the other. Each wall itself isn't very long, but you can link things together to get a decent burn.

The Refuge has showers, that seems relevant to your interests :)
