I'm looking at skiing into the North Rim of the Black mid March. Does any one have experience with this? Of course it depends on the current conditions, but in what style did you do it in? Free, aid, mixed? What is the Cruise and SOB gully like in March?

Hey did this end up working out for You? I'm thinking about biking in there. Do you know the mileage?

I ended up not going because I found out that there wasn't enough snow. Given the snowpack this year, I think biking would be a great way to approach the canyon. Good luck!

On the plus side, shouldn't be any poison ivy...

Free, aid, mixed? For the road?

It's 5 miles from the gate. Bikes or cross country depending on road coverage. Prob not much snow or ice in draws this yr. let's go in march jordan!

This is an old thread that I started last winter. Someone just added to it now. March could be good though. I'll try to free some time up towards the end of the month.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
