We're two girls from South Africa traveling to Wadi Rum from the 29th of Dec to the 13th of Jan 2018 and we're looking for other climbers to link up with :) We'll have a trad rack and some ropes. Also not sure whether to stay in the village or desert yet

Hey,

How's it going?  I'm currently scrabbling to make travel plans over New Years.  I'm available to travel from Dec. 27th - Jan. 14th similar to yourselves.  Jordan looks and sounds amazing, I'd be more than  willing to link up if your willing to travel with a solo male.

What grades do the two of you climb?

Stay in the desert. The village is noisy (dogs) and not that pretty. The desert is beautiful and silent.

Catherine / Malcolm did any plans come together? No plans as of yet but I'm looking at getting myself to Wadi Rum over Christmas / New year and I am currently partner less.

Never been to wadi Rum but have done various other long trad pitches at E3 (5.11a ish?)

Hey Drew,

I never heard back from Catherine.  I decided to spend my holidays climbing in Colombia instead.  I know its a further flight for you, but your welcome to join the group in South America if you like.

Malcolm- If your Colombia plans are flexible, try to get to Cañon Del Chicamocha, good climbing, decent climbers hostel on rim by Los Santos.

Hey John,

That's where I'm planning on spending most of my time.  Which hostel did you stay at?  I've got a reservation at La Roca, it was the only option I could find any information on.  Looks like a good place tho.

Hi guys sorry for the late response! We'd love to have people join us there. We're bringing a double rack and could do with some company :) We haven't really made plans yet but at this stage we've linked up with a guy in the village. If you're still keen to join, whatsapp me :) +27 71 449 3068

Hey Malcolm, sorry I missed your post. That's the place I stayed at too. You must be there by now, how's it going?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
