I live in my car full time and normally I'm in the wilderness but second night in a city and my car was broken into. Some assholes took a shit ton of my stuff and as I live out of my car, this is pretty detrimental. If anyone can please be on the lookout for any of these items being sold online and help catch this guy, especially my brand new 9.4mm x 80m Roca Fixe Rainbow coloured rope, which I don't even think you can buy in the USA and is pretty unique so may help to find him.

Make sure you take everything out of your car especially in Glendale area.

If you see the rainbow rope or these items being sold together PLEASE MESSAGE ME as it might help catch them.

With all that gear, you should have been driving an armored truck! Good luck.  I guess you don't have any homeowner's insurance, since you're living in your car.

Did you file a police report?

No kidding, I usually don't leave it in the car but because I'm in a city short a short time I didn't bring it inside or set up camp anywhere. Yes I did : (

I have some older petzl draws in good condition I could part with.

Potentially have some older mythos that might fit you if you don't have any others.

I used to have renter's insurance with USAA (now have homeowner's) and myself and several friends have had good experience with it covering both theft and damage In similar situations.

Check the local Craigslist and also local pawn shops.  Probably druggies that just wanted something to sell to get their fix.

Yes, I just found out about renter insurance unfortunately, so I'm going to get some now. But nothing will probably happen now!!

Lane  would be so happy for any draws at all!!!! If you are sure you want to part with them :)

I have about 15 carabiners and a couple slings I could throw into that mix as well. I really hope you find your stuff.  Also have a women's medium harness we could donate that has some life left in it.  Pm me if this helps you out

Alice...was your iphone 5 equipped with "Find My Phone?"  I recovered an iphone and an ipad that were stolen using that app.

I checked find my iphone and it looks like the phone is off but I'm gonna keep checking in case they charge it, which would be lucky!

Which area of Denver?

Cherry Creek.

I'm sorry to hear about this. A neighbor had his car stolen from his garage (rare) and while it was recovered (and the guy responsible arrested) almost all the stuff he had in there was gone.

I have some spare gear I'm happy to donate, and hopefully others will pitch in. I think that's likely the best you can hope for realistically.

Canvas the neighborhood.  You might find some of it.  Thieves stole climbing gear from my truck then dumped it along the road when they realized that used gear is practically worthless.  I know somebody else that found their gear strewn along Colfax.

Cherry creek? Shit that sucks. Got any pics of the rope and gear etc? Check dumpsters in the area?

Someone already mentioned pawn shops, but this is probably your best bet. I’ve known friends who have recovered items from the closest pawn shop.

There are approximately ten pawn shops on the East side of I-25, and one near Sloan Lake... It would simple for a couple of users to take the bike path from downtown to an affluent neighborhood to steal something from a vehicle that looks inhabited.

If it was a user, they were probably looking to flip the gear quickly, and nearby to where they they are buying drugs.

Take an afternoon checking out those shops.

God, that absolutely sucks, Alice. Very sorry to hear this.

Sucks, I am north of Denver about 30 miles, but have an older sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and older tent I could donate if need be. Possibly some other stuff like dishes, etc.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
