Amman, Jordan Dec 22-24

I am traveling to Jordan and Jerusalem the week of Christmas and will have some downtime the weekend of December 22nd. I'm planning on bringing my climbing gear. Does anyone have tips on where to climb near Amman and/or looking for a climbing partner during that time? Thanks!!

Some info about me: My name is Asma. I'm 30 years old (female) and live in Chicago. I climb outdoors frequently, sport climbing usually in the 5.9 to 5.10 range.

Asma,  I'm curious as to how your trip turned out.  I am traveling to Amman in the spring and would love to climb in Wadi Rum while I am there but will be going without a partner.  Was it hard to find a partner and did you run into any troublesome situations being a solo female traveling/climbing there?
