How do you know you are hopelessly hooked on climbing?

1. When you try to climb up a rock after getting a cast on a sprained wrist, which happened because of a fall while climbing.

2. When you look at the cracks on a sidewalk and think "Man, if this was vertical, I would totally climb that!"

3. When you create countless amounts of areas on mountain project in hopes that you will one day be able to climb in all of them.

4. When you take over an already established area on mountain project by adding countless amounts of routes.

5. When you know a jug is loose, but you just need to hold onto it until it breaks.

When you are playing hooky on a Friday, but are still up at 6AM to go climbing.

When your girlfriend says, "tie me up and do anything you want" and you tie her up and go climbing.

when you want to travel 100 miles just to climb one route

When your car is at the mechanics and you hitchhike 50 miles   to a crag  by the main road to go rope solo when you can't  find a partner

Is this abnormal? I have traveled like 160 miles (one way) multi times to climb single multi pitch routes.

When you drive 4 hours to get to the gunks and pay 20 bucks in tolls going through nj and 17 dollars for the mohonk pass only to climb a couple routes for the day and then drive 4 hours home

When you forget how dangerous and crazy the shit your climbing is and you fall and get hurt pretty bad but only dream about climbing everyday your hurt

When you're stoked that you got on top of a short, unnamed rock, on the unrated side. With the assistance of your six foot tall spotter. While you were fighting panic. 

When you are at the bus station, see a carabineer on a day pack, then get excited to see it's the same as your belay carabineer! At least I didn't embarrass myself by trying to see if the anodizing was worn where a rope would run. Sigh.
