That doesn't make sense. 5.10 is already one of the most established and highly respected brands for shoes, which HAS to be one of the biggest money makers for gear manufacturers. Look at how many new companies are entering the shoe market (BD, Wild Country, Butora, So Ill)  I think I probably have spent as much money on shoes as the rest of my climbing gear combined.

Plus Adidas running the whole "rockstars" comps.

TBH these guys make 3 shoes that aren't garbage (dragon, team and mocc). Everything else has been improved upon by more technologically advanced brands like scarpa, tenaya, and LS. They seem to have a pretty fundamental misunderstanding of the foot's anatomy. New blancos were horrid

They are definitely continuing to make climbing shoes.

fixed that for you.  Anasazi line fits my foot wonderfully and the Blancos are amazing.

No. I don't. Anasazi fits the basic structure of my fit really well, but it's really chunkily designed. I dislike the new blancos mostly cause they're not nearly as stiff as the old ones

Anasazis fit my foot the best of any shoe out there. I dislike the new Blancos because: 1) they are so plain, boring, ugly, and 2) the heel rand on the new Blancos is one thick piece of rubber, as opposed to two thinner bands, so I can't mod it by removing one piece of rubber like I used to do. All and in all, I much preferred the old ones.

When are those new 5.10 high tops gonna be available again? I guess it doesn't matter, I'll just buy the Scarpa Maestros next Spring..

+1+1+1 The shoes from the Anasazi line are the only shoes I climb on outdoors...  Literally nothing beats the Laces and Blancos for lots of techy granite climbs.  And I can wear them sized pretty tight all day.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
