Best phone reception & navman for desert Las Vegas and Utah, Moab
|

I'm going to be in Las Vegas red rock and Utah, Moab and am wondering which company would be the best to go with for my phone service/reception and what navman is the best. |

What is a navman? |

Is a navman what they call a satnav down under? I don't know anyone who uses a dedicated device like that anymore. Everyone I know uses google maps or waze on their phone. |

Oh Satnav! By far the best is by PalmPilot.. https://www.amazon.com/Palm-80201U-PalmPilot-Professional-Organizer/dp/B00000DM9S |

Verison works best around Moab. AT&T can be rather spotty. Don't expect to have service everywhere with either. |

Standalone auto GPS units are obsolete tech in the USA. If you are worried you won't have signal, download the Google Maps app and create an offline storage map of the area you're going to visit. Then you can navigate without cell phone service. You can download the entire USA as an offline map if you want. |
