Go to crags during late OCT season?

Hi trying to figure out if climbing in Oct/Nov would be worth hitting up little cotton canyon or American fork canyon? does it normally rain or too cold?

Rain dependent, climbing in LCC is prime in october and still can be very good into November because the classic granite climbs are south facing and at low elevation

so is AFC okay also in october? arent they relatively close to each other?

AF has some south facing walls but not many.  It will be cooler than LCC.
