Hey there. I climb below your level, more in the 5.7-5.9 range, but I'm planning to be at Red Rocks the 13-16th and would love to find a climbing partner. I don't mind being your belay bitch if you want to climb harder stuff too, as long as you'd be down with leading a few easier ones for me to get on as well, I haven't been climbing much lately so I don't know how comfortable I'd be leading, but I am a strong belayer (have even followed up several multi pitch trad routes, most recently in Squamish, BC). Let me know if you are interested in meeting up. i plan to also be at the Red Rocks campground :)

Hi Alicia,

I'm potentially interested - in fact I'd take you up on the offer if I hadn't got another reply on another forum just a few hours before your message (and they're the only two replies I've had, how bloody typical!). The other climber doesn't know yet whether he'll be around or not, so I'm not saying yes or no for now; of course I'll understand if you have to make plans and can't wait for my definitive answer :) If this guy bails on me then I'd be glad to meet up, and I obviously wouldn't mind setting up topropes for you (or belaying you on easier climbs), my elbow will probably thank me anyway. I'll keep you posted!

Hey Alicia,

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, had lots of planning to do lately! So, if you're still up for some sport climbing at Red Rocks I'm down, let me know what you think!

If anyone else is interested I'm still looking for partners for the whole week or just a few days!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
