Looking for a trad mentor in Triangle Area, NC

Hey! I'm a student in Durham, NC who's looking to get into trad climbing. I've done lots of gym climbing, and a fair amount of TR and seconding outdoors in NC. School keeps me pretty busy, but I'd love to start getting outdoors more with someone who's willing to mentor me through learning how to lead trad. I have my own harness, shoes, helmet, etc. and I've started to slowly piece together my own gear. I'm willing to trade beer, food, gas money, etc for instruction. Hope to hear from someone soon! Have a nice day.

Still learning myself, but dying to get out this week. I'm free Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and I'd be more than happy to show you the ropes, haha. PM me if you like!

Hey! I just moved to Chapel Hill (PhD student at UNC). I've been climbing outside for a few years -- don't think I'm equipped to mentor, still really building up my skills and trad head myself, but I'd be super happy to get outside and climb with either of you! I live in Carrboro. I shared gear with my boyfriend who is still in California so I don't have a rack or rope (yet), but maybe Will does??

I've contacted Nafeesa and Will, but I'm always looking to extend my network! Still open to anyone looking to climb trad together.

Either of you free to climb tomorrow?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
