That is quite confusing, I check out the listing myself. Oh false hope!

Thanks for letting us know, and thanks for alerting the company to the mistake. That's one good deed done for the day.

Looks more like a data entry error than "deceptive marketing".

Thread headline is a bit inflammatory for a minor infraction.

I'm sure with enough lawyering you could have bought em and sued em.

Probably. But once you factor in the cost of the lawyering and the opportunity cost of your own time spent, not only are you "making" less than minimum wage, you're probably making huge negative wages.

Beware false economy... like starting a bigwall climb and leaving ascenders behind to save weight.

That's not true to the spirit of the land of litigation. Shame on you.

Even if one were to accidentally buy them, Moosejaw has a 100% return policy. Really a loss on their part, not the buyer's.

No returns on climbing gear, you would have done good to purchase and complain...  I mean if you wanted to be deceptive.

I ended up with free Crampons from moosejaw because of an awkward loophole as such

They're lagging way behind in the online retail game, and are buying companies like this to get in the game.

You don't spend much time in the land of litigation, do you?

Litigators turn down claims constantly because the damages are not worth pursuing.

I don't, mainly because I'm too scared someone will take offence to something I say and either sue or shoot me.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
