Good bolded toprope near Boulder

I'm looking to get a few friends into outside climbing, but they can't lead. What would be some spots for good bolted toprope climbs? It would be nice if there was anchor access. Routes between 5.6 and 5.9 would be sweet. I ask for boled anchors because I don't have much experience with natural anchors; I just have a quad anchor that I use with bolts. Thanks for the advice

It's not Boulder but, North Table Mountain in Golden has lots of top rope routes with easy access.

Awesome. I've heard good stuff about Table Mountain. Are they bolted anchors?

Never heard of Spot Park I'll check that. I was looking into the Boulderado, but there's only like 3 routes within the 5.6-5.9 range. What about Happy Hour crag? Lots of 8's and 9's, but from what I was reading a lot of the anchors are natural. True?

Pretty sure most of the TR anchors at Happy Hour will require slings for trees at least.

How about Lookout Mountain Crag near Golden? I've never been there but it looks Like It would be a good fit. And shady.

This is a good suggestion. You will be able to get on a bunch of easy routes (even some crack!) and quick access to move the top ropes around.

climbing friend,

everyone they are knowing it is not for your "friends."

Why don't you lead and set up a top rope when you're done? One person as lead belay learner and one person to back up the learner while you lead climb (that is, unless they are so new they don't even know how to TR belay and the lead belay too big of a jump forward). Lots of areas have hooks at the top that makes for easy cleaning (sport park, bihedral, little eiger, and tons more).

Definitely is a good idea, I toyed with it as well. One of the 3 can TR belay, but he's only done it a handful of times. Maybe if he tries the lead belay with someone acting as a backup that would work. I would definitely love to just lead the climb and set up a top rope, but I was just unsure in any of their abilities to lead belay.

The Watermark in Boulder Canyon has a handful of fun 5.7-5.9 with bolted anchors. You can walk to the top to set up a tr. You also get to cross a tyrole which is super fun especially for new climbers!
