Climbing/Bouldering/Hiking Road Trip - USA starting late April

Hello Mountain Project,

I'm coming home from some travel around Asia and New Zealand (I heard America is great again, so I thought it was time to come back ;). I'll be in Colorado for the beginning of April to do some snowboarding and then was looking to do a month or three of climbing/bouldering with some hiking and backpacking mixed in. My default plan would be to start in Colorado, work down through the southwest, up through california, and then either over to Wyoming and Montana, or continue north up the coast towards BC. Unfortunately, all my friends are not dirtbags (i.e. employed).

I'm up for east coast instead of west coast as well, my plans are pretty flexible at this point. I've been single pitch sport climbing and bouldering on and off for 7 years.
As far as skill level goes, I'm definitely out of climbing shape. I should be able to lead 5.8/5.9's comfortably, and some 5.10's out of the gate. I should be able to follow some harder pitches, and I think after a month or so of consistent climbing I'd be pushing up into the 10c/d's and maybe some 11's.
I'm definitely keen to do some multipitch and/or trad, if you've got some experience in that realm.

Shoot me a message if you think you might want to join up!

Cheers,
Josh

I'm gonna be kicking off a roadtrip of my own starting off in Utah for the second half of April and May and then on to Colorado for May/June. Let me know if your travel plans happen to put you in any of those areas and I'd be happy to link up. I'm in a similar place climbing wise and have a decent collection of trad gear.

Hey guys, I am doing a 3 month climbing/photography trip also and probably relocating somewhere eventually. I'll be in the Red River Gorge late April and then planning to leave the D.C. area again late May/early June and head to Colorado first to visit a climbing friend living in Boulder. I am flexible with destinations and still working out the order but I will be Wyoming, Utah, and California (meeting friends there too) for extended times as well. I am down for anything climbing wise be it sport, boulder, or trad. I have lots of gear and am a safe belayer.

I'll be getting to Moab towards the end of April and travelling around southern Utah for a few weeks or even a month, so it sounds like we should definitely cross paths. I'll do some more planning next week and let you know my plans for Utah.

Tensleep, Wyoming is probably my main destination this summer. I plan on being in Tensleep and Lander for climbing mixed in with trips to Natl Parks for hiking/photography. I dont have an order or exact time frames set but it seems like I could do a nice loop though the CO front range, Rifle, Northern Utah, Grand Tetons, Lander, Tensleep, and maybe Spearfish Canyon in South Dakota. I have a good friend based out of Boulder I will be climbing with some of the time but I definitely need more partners.
