June Lake / Lee Vining ice conditions?

Warm temps this week. Can anyone give a current status of the conditions? I'm up for a trip there this week - even for a day - if the ice is decent.

Hi... some of my friends went there last week.... reported perfect conditions, thick n nice.

but with Ice you never know till you swing a ax.

sort of like surfing.

Roadside yesterday morning (3/14). Warm, hollow, and lots of water running. Loose death block 3/4 of the way up this route.

Roadside ice is obviously in the Sun.

Anyone has recently ventured into Lee Vining and can report on the conditions?
