Albuquerque partner - Thanksgiving weekend

Spending Thanksgiving in the area with a friend's family - would like to get out and hit the terrain while I'm there.

My preference for the weekend would be easy multipitch. Knife Edge and the 5.6 NW Ridge are up my alley. Have a basic rack, a 70m, & lead 5.8 on trad.

Nathan:

If you are still open to consideration, I'd be interested in the Knife Edge with you on Saturday with some caveats. Willing to carry on the discussion here or privately.

For information - The current forecasted high at the top is the lower 40's with overnight lows in the 20's. And this morning, I can see a light dusting of white up there.

Hi, Parker:

Nathan and I are discussing; we've never met. And the forecasted temps / wind may be an issue for us up there.

If we go, I'm thinking of minimizing the unknowns which to me means just Nathan and I. Sorry man.

And I don't mean to speak for Nathan.

Hope you get a hit on your other post. Cold weather in the "off season" is tough for non-locals who usually have a small window of days. The locals are mostly thinking "Meh, I think I'll wait for a better weather weekend."

Cheers!
Bill

No worries bill. I found someone else but my girlfriend shot down the climbing unexpectedly. Have fun.

Thank you, Parker. Given the temps, you know she knows what's good for you. :-)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
