Saw a video of a beautiful climb called Marooned (5.11 c or d) somewhere in the Gunks. It's past my leading level right now, but I'd still love to know where it is.
The white rock (and the fact that the FA seems to have been Rich Romano) makes me think Millbrook, but the lack of documentation makes me think that it's in that-crag-of-which-we-do-not-speak.
It is Now a long walk, (bike ride?)but in the Gunks, that's not that long if you know.
Yes R R , -Originally led, on A small odd assortment of stoppers & Clog Wads, No cams. The holds are all there . . . but there are real cruxes*, (every bit 5.12,(b,) it is reachy! so not, 'a' IMHO)
(*The camera cuts out at least a crux, or 2) !(?) that was an On purpose edit? ~what footage the Gunksapps folks must have!! Wow, the ' out-takes?!! Must be amazing....
That takes zero away from that great climb & great climbing!!
the whole thing is stout!!
