No longer looking

Howdy! I'm an aspiring trad climber in Indiana looking to visit the Red every weekend weather permits.

Why aspiring? Well in the past 5 months I've gone from terrified of the idea of trad to addicted to the crack, and I want to get as much experience and practice as I can. Multipitch is a bonus. Problem is I don't know very many people that do trad stuff, and don't have my own pro. I've followed 5.7's, and they were easy as pie.

Beer money will be flowing, rock will be crushed, jams will be had. Let me know if you're up to mentor a newbie.

My gf my dog and myself will be,in the red for aome time late july to late august. Doing mostly sport routes but some trad. We are not experts by any means, but very safe and exploratory learners.

Try hard to find someone to hang it out on Jungle Beat. Once you pull around that airy corner on cams, you'll be hooked for life. (Or at least that's what happened to me a few decades ago)

Where in Indiana are you from?

I can't make it to the Red every weekend but I could be convinced to hit it occasionally. If you'd like to take an extended trip to Seneca that would be fun also.

Hey guys, thanks for all the support. I managed to get out a few times, and got my first trad lead on Call of the Wild (5.7). College is starting back up so I'm not looking to go out as much anymore.

If you find yourself with any free weekends this fall I'd be up for some easy trad. Coming from Ann Arbor, MI.
