Smith Partner July 3/4

Hello,

I'm heading to Smith Rock on the 3rd and 4th of July. Looking for someone to climb with some classic easy/moderate routes. I can sport lead 5.10a/b and trad lead 5.9 (follow about 2 grades harder, depends on type of climb). I have a standard rack and rope. Not looking to push my limits, but instead do some classic/fun routes. Also someone with some camping beta, especially on a busy weekend ;)

Hi Fernando,

I'd definitely be interested in climbing Smith on the 3rd and/or 4th. I started leading trad last year in the 5.7 range and can follow mostly 2 grades higher--can bring a rope and rack if needed.

Not sure about camping beta--I planned on staying on blm land near Bend.

Never climbed at Smith Rock so a fun intro on easy/moderates sounds great to me.

I am driving up from the San Francisco Bay on Friday evening, Saturday morning.

Hi there I can also meet up. I will be headed out tomorrow. I can climb 5.11a on a good day, and I am looking to try and lead on this trip can I meet you guys there? I have my own rope.

Hey guys, I appreciate the reply's but I had to cut my trip short and am back home in socal. I do plan on going back up to smith pretty soon (read "weekend trip") and would like to meet up with some people then :)

oh Fernando, you know if you come back up to Bend I will climb Monkey Face with you! And also take you out to the breweries in Bend, and also you can sleep on my couch and chill in my hot tub! Just gotta come back before I leave at the beginning of August!
