Hi,
I'm thinking of moving to Colorado. Would I be seriously limited in the number of crags I could get to with a Honda Fit? It's clearance I worry about most...

Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks!

You can access 90% of the crags in CO in a Honda Fit. Just be careful.

That said, Colorado is full. Prices on everything have skyrocketed, traffic is out of control, etc. You'll probably be happier in MT or WY.

Many climbing areas will be accessible with your Fit. Some won't be. It will depend if you live in the Mountains or the Front Range and where you want to climb. There are many cool crags, boulders, etc. that require high clearance. I have two low clearance vehicles but every single partner has a truck or Jeep so the only time it limits me is if I want to go have a solo bouldering session at a location requiring high clearance.

Awesome thanks all!

And sorry about it being crowded--guess I'm part of the problem. I promise I won't bring any friends.

Colorado sucks ass. stay where you are and wait for weed to be legalized nationally and stop coming here.

I once had a 4 X 4 Nissan but now drive an Accord. You drive a lot more on highways to the crags than on dirt roads. Other than some S. Platte destinations like Turkey Rocks, you'll not find a need for the truck. You hike to where you are going in general and trailheads tend to start at the pavement. Now if you are going to do some peak bagging, the truck will cut out some dull road hiking.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
