I'll be traveling through Central Europe in a few weeks and am going to hire a guide for a day or 2 of climbing. I want to climb some of the scary ass sling protected sandstone routes in the German Saxon area or the Northern Czech Republic. Anyone have a recommendation for where I should head or guide contact info?
Thanks in advance

I know there are guide services in Rathen, which is pretty central to the Elbsandstein massifs. I would say search for that or for Dresden guides, dresden being the largest city nearby, nearer to the actual climbing than prague. It's not so bad... But I'd say expect a different experience safety wise than an American guide service. I can virtually guarantee you'll be belayed often from a single bolt, many of which are quite rusty. Have fun!

Hrensko in the Czech Republic is a good place to start. Talk to folks at hudy sport (Czech rei), which has a store in town. The area of Labak is almost fully bolted, with modern hardware, but sporty & hard to navigate.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
