Stolen Gear in Boise

Hey everyone, my brother's not a MP member so I figured I'd post for him. Yesterday he had all his climbing gear stolen from his car in Boise. They swiped some cams, set of nuts, set of hexes, a mammut infinity rope, a pair of mythos, and his granite gear pack. The climbing gear is all in like-new condition as it was just purchased a few weeks ago. Aside from climbing gear, the also took a macbook, an arcteryx ceres, a sierra designs fl2, rei quarter dome 1, rei dash 2, BA fly creek ul 3, and a nemo 9x9 bug shelter. Damn, that sucks. I'll keep an eye out for it! Just wondering, where did his car get broken into? I don't hear of many break-ins happening around here. I'd recommend also Posting to the Boise Rock Climber's facebook page.

I'm not sure as I'm not a Boise local. He had just moved to Boise a week or two ago. He thought he'd locked his door but was apparently incorrect. They just opened it up and walked off with it all.

Add insurance on all your gear!!! It's like jewelry where each piece is recorded and documented but well worth it.

No news. He's not entirely sure when it got swiped (he's not always the most attentive individual), but his best guess is out of the parking lot at work (REI).

OLH- I'll let him know. He and I just talked yesterday about him wanting to find a couple of people to climb with.
