Anyone have an idea on the conditions on the Star Wall? Does it stay dry? seep? How much snow on the approach? Thanks for any info.

I went up there about a month ago. not much seepage on the routes, approach was at worst knee deep postholing, but did it in hiking boots. go get after it... perfect temps. may want to wait until Sunday or so for everything to dry up after the few days of rain/snow

I second what Michael said. Minimal seepage but with the system that just dropped a few inches and the cooler temps it might be best to wait a couple days. Definitely be prepared for some postholing.

Hey, did you end up heading out there? If so, how was it? And if you are ever looking for someone to climb with, I pretty much live in Tahoe these days.

Yeah this rain/snow is really putting a damper on my psyche, but I'm thinking about trying to find some dry boulders up there tomorrow and/or Sunday. I'll let you know how it goes.
