Not the basics, the aid climbing ones

They retail for like $80-85!

It's a rare find but I'm pretty sure it has happened.

I have brand new red green and purple totems with tags that I'd sell for 64 each of you're interested.

Unfortunately it's the blue and yellow that I'm after. Thanks for the offer!

Never seen them on sale yet ... I've got two sets and wish I had 4!

Yes. Some time ago I got four totems for 25% off on Backcountrygear.com. But that was the only time I've seen them on sale.
$60 a piece was a decent price for them

I've gotten a couple for like 20%, but it's far and few between. I think I had to use "20% off one non-sale item" codes.

The margin on them for a retailer is worse than average for climbing gear, which is usually your worst margin category.

rock and snow (rockandsnow.com) in new york has 20% off sales twice annually, and they have a very good stock of totems.

I bought an entire set from Mountain Gear for 25% off. I lost the red one due to the fact I forgot I have no business on anything higher M zero. I bought another red at Rock and Snow for 20% off.

You just gotta be ready when there's a sale.

I was promised a coupon for 2 cams at 40% off each due to some interesting shenanigans that occurred during the launch of the Totem Online Retail store about 2 years ago. They still haven't delivered it, but this thread reminded me to follow up.

I'll let you all know how it goes.

Got a blue Totem 20% off at backcountry with their 20%-off-one-full-price-item thing they were doing recently...

I might have the winner for best Totem deal - last May I decided to try one out and found they were on sale at Backcountry.com, as part of their 20% all(?) stuff. I ALSO noticed that they had a coupon for 20% off any one item that you could stack... plus they had free shipping for $50+. So, bottom line price was $54.36. That was so good I decided to order one of each with the thought that if I didn't like them I could sell them for at least that much. Turns out I love them and they are now a fixture on my rack.

That also had the Basics coming out to $47.50, so you had to stack some chalk or something on to make it to free shipping, but I already had CCH aliens and didn't feel like I needed those. I shared the deal with a buddy shortly after I placed all of my orders but I think BC decided to call shenanigans on it and within a few hours his order wouldn't go through with the extra 20% off.

I am most looking forward to the new black and yellow Totems... anyone have an update on the arrival date of those? Last I saw was Spring of this year.

There is a 20% off deal on Climbtech.com for totem basics now, although they bend you over on the shipping costs. They aren't carrying them right now but REI had them for a while and you could use the member 20% coupon plus get free shipping to the store + get the member discount/cashback thing to get a bit more - although tax still applies. I was about to go that route prior to the BC.com deal. Hoping they get the new ones (black and yellow) when they come out.

Matt, my understanding is that the new ones are black and orange (probably since they already used yellow in the size equivalent to the Gray C4).

Matt do you check out as a guest or make like 7 backcountry.com accounts? (No judgment either way)

I bought a double set from Camp Saver for 20% off. At the time, they were the only retailer running a sale that actually had the cams in stock.

all sizes in stock, 20% off one full priced item for members

Guest account. And I didn't feel too bad about it, a purchase is still a purchase from them and I buy enough crap not on crazy sale from them as it is :)

Oh and yea, orange - I was thinking of its BD equivalent, the C4 Yellow. Related: I follow Totem's FB page and they commented that they are waiting the "homologation stamp" prior to releasing the new ones.

We've got them at 10% off right now (and all of our cams at 10% off actually).

Just use this code: CAMSALE
