Cedar Rock Road Access - Pisgah

I know the Looking Glass road is closed, but what about FS471 heading up to Cedar Rock? CCC site does not list that road as one of the closures, but guide mentions it sometimes closes in winter. Anyone know if we will have any problem approaching Cedar from Cathy's Creek Road?

Chris, it's always open as far as I know because people live on that road. However, it's not always in the best of shape for that same reason.
