3 cent/foot webbing at REI

I picked up 300 feet earlier. Not the first time I've seen something like this from REI: a while back I picked up 3 #1 micro stoppers at $0.91 each. Flipped them on the ForSale forum a few months later for $30.00.

600' longline. That's what I would do with it.

haha i just have to say it's kind of funny to see you guys buy 10x what you'll need in your lifetime just because it's a good deal.

Shop at costco much?

Do you throw it away when you are done climbing? haha sorry it's hilarious. My TR anchor materials don't need to be replaced to the point where I'd need 600 feet.

I think I have 20 feet of webbing and then like two separate 20ft. 7mm/8mm cord lines. There is one place that I've climbed at where I actually need to use all 60 feet to hang better over the cliff lip. Other than that I've only really need 20 feet at time.

I have a feeling we will be seeing webbing on the for sale forum for $0.06 per foot in the near future.

Sold out... You animals!

Guess I'll be buying some webbing at 10cents a foot off mp in a week or so.

I called the Vegas store and they did not have anything in that price range. I had to buy it online and marked free in store pick up option at check out. I only bought like 300 feet though, mostly for setting up top ropes on ice routes, which sometimes take a lot of webbing. If you hike far up canyon in Ouray , having some 50 foot sections make for super quick and easy TR's.

Just got a reply from REI stating that my item is
ready for pick up!

Yeah mine's ready for pickup too. They must have run out before they could fill your order.

Looks like I'm the first to order and the last to receive my items. Just got dropped on my doorstep by UPS today, but at least I got it.

No need to rub it in now...
