Hoping to hit the OR before super bowl tomorrow. Anyone know if it is dry?

Probably not. Overnight temps are freezing. So sun melts it during day hous instead of running off overnight. The upper pitches are more than likely to be soaked especially the traditons finish.

Thanks Tom. You were just about right on. Completely dry up to Crescent Pitch which had just a little water to step over when you make that hard left traverse. Not a problem. The "Hole" belay was wet after bolt ladder but partner skipped it and linked with 9+ Traditions finish pitch. It was dry. 10a pitch on Traditions finish was a little wet but thankfully right at the bolts. 8+ last pitch a little wet too. Nothing we could not avoid thankfully. Appeared we were the only ones on the whole mountain yesterday. Only missed the 1stQ if the game...

You weren't the only ones. We climbed, drank a couple of beers in the parking lot, drove back just in time to watch the start of the game! Great day to be on Whitesides. Yeah...mostly dry.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
