Yeah, it's a great film. Some Scottish winter climbing history (focused on a week in which Jimmy Marshall climbed a ton of stuff on Ben Nevis), and the modern day repeats by Dave McLeod are kind of a feel good romp. Definitely worth seeing.

a video I made several years ago of climbing Mt. Hood's north face. I am the leader (orange pants) not the go pro-er.

so far i've got 300 views and one 11 year old girl has commented. she calls it "boring".

I also made the music, which I will admit, does add to the boringness of the video.

Anybody know of a way to watch Cloudwalker?

I did some internet digging and found... nothing. No torrent. No release. No nothing. It was a tv movie in 1985, so I am not expecting much. However, there was a screening 2 years ago in Banff.
EDIT: just figured out that it was a natgeo explorer episode (season 1 episode 87), but still no leads on an actual copy.

Some incredible old Alex Lowe footage. The dude was so far ahead of his time it's almost comical.

actually, having only learned about valdez in jan, I am currently here visiting from California and we had a blast in the hole-in-the-wall canyon with pretty good ice! more to come I hope!
