Having a debate with some friends on where to go this weekend. I've been to the voo and love it. I've never been to Turkey Rocks. For those that have been to both, which do you prefer?

Turkey rocks is similar but more featured with varied crack sizes.

Vedauwoo is for the mentally deranged offwidth lovers.

I prefer Turkey Rocks and the nearby Thunder Ridge alligator skin, but Vedauwoo is world famous for a reason.

I guess Type 1 fun vs Type 2? I like em both.

turkey rocks is an all time favorite crag. really you can't go wrong though, both are great.

if the forecast is cooler or windy, turkey rocks will be better bet.

if the forecast is hot and sunny, vedauwoo is a better bet.

turkey is more dense. you can walk to from one end to the other in 15 minutes.

the voo is huge, way more routes, you drive between most areas. but more options for different aspects.

I love Vedauwoo, but the climbing at Turkey Rocks is better.

The nautilus alone is ten times more crag than turkey rocks.

Apparently damn near half the population of Denver consulted this thread and mobbed Turkey Rocks this past weekend.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
